Well it's July. I guess my fourth was alright, plagued by little kids, but we had a pretty good view of the fireworks. And you guys?

I'm just feeling completely and totally lethargic -flail- There's just nothing...interesting around here. I'd really like to read a good book again, I think :U I used to be reallysuperintensely into reading but now I'm..not. Yeah. I think I might re-read the Harry Potter series again so I actually remember half the crap when the new movie comes out. orrr some massive Redwall book I found in my closet that I probably didn't touch because I was intimidated by its...massiveness. Yeah, it has a squirrel on the front though, so that's promising.

But seriously, the actual reason I wrote this journal (now that I'm on tumblr pretty frequently I don't have much use for my dA journal, spare art-related stuff) is..not really art block, just a lack of motivation .___. When I draw a large amount of stuff in a short amount of time, I tend to get pretty sick of it and have to take a break for a while. I mean, I've been doodling, but nothing..finished. And the thought of linearting is enough to scare me away if I get the least bit ambitious.

I think I'll throw together a batch of giftart for people who've drawn me things in the past, since I seem to get more motivated when it's drawing for somebody else. nnnfdkfnl.

Oh, I also updated the HG/SS column although it's pretty...lame. I dunno, writing it first thing yesterday morning was probably not terribly intelligent. I'll try to make the next one better >___>

Yeah s' pretty much it. I'll be a little busier next week though since driver's ed is Monday through Thursday (GOOD GOD HAVE YOU MEMORIZED WHEN I START THAT YET? I THINK I'VE MENTIONED IT IN THREE FREAKING JOURNALS NOW).
